Everything Is on One Street
Clifton Hill runs uphill from the Niagara Parkway, a short walk from the falls themselves, and all six attractions sit on or beside it. There is no travelling between them and nothing to schedule. You present your pass at each one as you go.
The SkyWheel, Before the Queue Builds
The SkyWheel is the one attraction with a queue worth avoiding, so ride it early or leave it until after dark when it is at its best and the crowd has moved on to dinner. Ten minutes, enclosed gondolas, heated in winter, and the falls in the distance from the top.
Choose the Golf and the Ride
Two of the six are choices rather than fixed. The golf is Dinosaur Adventure Golf, two 18-hole courses spread over 70,000 square feet with 30-foot dinosaurs and a bubbling volcano, or Wizards Golf, a glow-in-the-dark course putting past trolls, fairies, castles and dragons. The ride is the Toy Store, a 4D flight through a toy shop after hours, or Carnival Chaos, in which a vengeful clown traps you in his nightmare. Decide as you go rather than in advance.
The Wax Museum, Zombie Attack and The Haunt
The other three are fixed. Movieland Wax Museum lines up Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones and Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump, with a children’s room the younger ones tend to refuse to leave. Zombie Attack hands you a gun and a multi-sensory ride through the apocalypse. The Haunt takes you into Blackstone Manor against an army of ghosts, skeletons, ghouls and goblins, with a laser gun and things that come out of the walls.
Save the Rest for Another Day
This is where the year-long validity earns its keep. If the children are finished after four attractions, stop at four. The pass does not expire tonight, so the remaining two are still there tomorrow, next weekend or on a return trip months from now.
