Niagara Falls Fireworks

Niagara Falls, on the border of Ontario, Canada, and New York, USA, is one of the most scenic natural wonders in the world. And what better way to experience the beauty of the falls than by witnessing the spectacular fireworks displays against the backdrop of the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls?

The Falls Fireworks Series at Niagara Parks is a great sight for visitors to the area, offering over 100 spectacular fireworks displays each year. The series includes a colorful summer display and the Winter Festival of Lights, making it a year-round attraction.

Holiday Fireworks

The holiday season is an especially magical time to visit Niagara Falls, as the falls are adorned with thousands of twinkling lights as part of the Winter Festival of Lights. The festival includes 8 p.m. fireworks displays every Friday and Saturday from November 12 to December 24 and January 13 to February 18. There are also bonus shows on February 19 and 20 and daily fireworks from December 26 to January 7, including a special bonus display on New Year’s Eve to ring in the new year at midnight.

Summer Fireworks

During the summer season, visitors from around the world flock to Niagara Falls to witness the fireworks displays, which are further showcased by the stunning nightly illumination of Niagara Falls. Enjoy the many attractions that are open throughout the summer and cap off your day and overnight stay with the great fireworks displays.

Where to Get the Best View

The fireworks are set off from within the Niagara Gorge, between the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls. The best view can be found in Queen Victoria Park, specifically in the main grassy area or along the parapet wall. Other great options include standing right at the water’s edge at Journey Behind the Falls or on the terrace at Queen Victoria Place Restaurant.

Fireworks Views

The Niagara Falls fireworks displays can be viewed from many beautiful vantage points within Niagara Falls, including outdoor spaces in Niagara Parks, high above at the Skylon Tower and Niagara SkyWheel, and indoors at the many hotels and restaurants with views of the Falls.

Stay the Night

After experiencing the fireworks, don’t rush back home. Instead, stay the night and discover all that Niagara Falls has to offer, day and night. From experiences for the hopeless romantic to the thrill-seeking adrenaline junkie, there is something for everyone in Canada’s entertainment capital.

Most family-fun attractions on Clifton Hill are open until 11 p.m. or later, so head to the Street of Fun after the fireworks display to enjoy the Niagara SkyWheel, Niagara Speedway, arcades, wax museums, Niagara Brewing Company, Niagara Distillery, and more. You can also enjoy unparalleled views of the fireworks from the comfort of a Fallsview hotel room or enjoy dinner and drinks at one of the many Fallsview restaurants.

Parking and Transportation

There are many parking lots throughout Niagara Parks, but the closest include Queen Victoria Place Restaurant (limited spots) and Falls Parking, our main lot located directly across from the Table Rock Centre. For those who prefer not to drive, the WEGO green line runs along the Niagara Parkway, meeting all other lines at Table Rock Centre. Access is included with your Adventure or Falls Pass.
